Your family's privacy is highly important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how JoJo Cam ("the App") handles information when you use the mobile application.
1. Zero Personal Data Collection
JoJo Cam is engineered with strict data minimization principles. We do not require any account registration, nor do we collect any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical location).
To help maintain app stability and improve performance, the App may collect limited, non-identifiable technical data:
- Diagnostics: Anonymized crash logs and performance metrics (such as app launch time or memory usage).
- Usage Data: Anonymized interaction metrics (such as feature usage counts) to help us improve app stability.
2. Pure Local Peer-to-Peer (No Cloud Storage)
JoJo Cam establishes direct peer-to-peer (P2P) connections strictly between your paired devices using your local Wi-Fi router.
- Your video and audio streams are encrypted end-to-end (AES-256-GCM).
- Your feeds are NEVER stored on, uploaded to, or routed through central cloud servers.
- We do not operate servers capable of viewing, intercepting, or recording your baby monitor video feed.
3. No Linkage and No Tracking
No Linkage: All technical or diagnostic data collected is stripped of direct identifiers before processing. This data is never linked to your identity or device.
No Tracking: We do not track you across third-party websites or applications, nor is your data used for advertising.
4. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Because JoJo Cam does not collect any personal information or operate cloud servers, the App complies completely with children's privacy regulations, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not collect information from children under the age of 13.
